My mom is saying 'are you sure you want to get this' and I keep saying yes but she wants to here from you guys if it's good. is it good for a guy with a budget of 450$? Please don't reccomend me another laptop, just tell me if this is good. Also, Do any of you seem to like it for 420$? (I think its a good price) the laptop is: Acer E5-551-89TN Notebook AMD A-Series A8-7100 (1.80GHz) 6GB Memory 1TB HDD AMD Radeon R5 Series 15.6" Windows 8.1 64-Bit. I just want to play a bit of minecraft with my brother, and essays. I will need as many answers as possible to persuade her (hoping 10 good answers)

Sure WilliamG. It's great. Now please go close the other thread you posted asking the same question, by picking a solution there, so that thread can be closed, since you felt the need to open another thread asking the exact same question. As we told you before, it will be fine for what you want to do.

It's just not the best laptop you can get for the amount of money you're planning to spend on it. We just want to help you get a good deal, not give you false information and mislead you into thinking the laptop is great when it isn't. Is it bad, no. Could you get a better one for the same amount of money, Yes. But if your selection is limited because of where you live, you could probably do worse than than one. So in that case the answer would be yes.

I did close it a while ago... anyway, my mom still wants even MORE people to say its good if I want to get it. I really don't like switching the laptop i want to buy, as it makes me have to research more. as I said before, I just need to know if its good or not.

why do you need lots of people agreeing that it's good, do you like it or not? it seems like you're just waiting for someone to come up and suggest you stretch your budget so that you'll go and tell your mom that you need a bigger budget.

If you've looked around and cannot find anything better in your area; then yes, I agree with darkbreeze and say that it should be good enough for what you are planning on doing with it.
