Is this laptop procesor enough for web browsing? and other day to day programs?

I am looking for a laptop for a cousin that is not into playing videogames at all so it doesnt matter and just want to know if this procesor is good enough for web browsing, using word and stuff like that without having stuttering.

Procesor: AMD A10 8700P (3.2 ghz)

Also if you think this procesor is a bit overkill for doing what i say recomend me one that is not as low to see the deference between them i really want the best bang for the buck, linustechtips fan (=

Should be fine, what kind of laptop it's in and the price are more important to the "bang for the buck" metric.
