Hello, so I am not the best at detecting eBay scams and really don't make expensive purchases on eBay and was wondering if this 1070 mini listing was legit or not. Seems to be a long time seller with good feedback, and multiple graphics cards for sale. Thanks for all your help in advance!

It is a legit as worn out by crypto mining. You trust anyone selling those right now? There are too many out there that have been beat up by crypto miners. Yep legit used and worn out!

Describing a potential mining card as "worn out" is not necessarily accurate. Just as with any used hardware, you can't be sure what kind of conditions it operated under, though if it was in a bare-bones mining rack, it may have had adequate cooling at least. And if it was bought during the recent mining craze, then it probably wasn't in use for much more than a year.

It might not have warranty coverage, and like any card, there's certainly the possibility that it could fail, but for less than the price of a new GTX 1060, it might still be a gamble worth taking. The 2060 will likely be coming out in a couple months or so, but judging by the questionable price to performance "improvements" of the higher-end cards that Nvidia has shown off so far, I have some doubts that the 2060 would provide better value.
