I've brought some new memory for my Skylake system, ready for a DDR4 Alder Lake upgrade next year. An pair of 8gig sticks, "Patriot DDR4 PC4-25600 3200Mhz".
I know my motherboard doesn't support memory this fast but CPU-Z is confusing me:

I see the XMP-3200 profile, but what's with the max bandwidth at the top? My slower sticks have a lower max bandwidth so I don't think it's the motherboard limitation, is it related to the JEDEC/XMP profiles or?

Thanks!

Solution
Yes, it is 3200MHz memory using the last XMP profile at 1.35V.
Are you sure that your current board does not support it? What board model?
Thanks for the fast reply! It's a B150M chipset from 6ish years ago https://www.gigabyte.com/uk/Motherboard/GA-B150M-D3H-rev-10/sp#sp
Does that mean I'll have to enable XMP on my future board? I guess I was expecting to see a JEDEC profile with 1600/3200 on it. My older memory sticks have a JEDEC and an XMP profile with the same frequency, just different timings.
Yes, XMP has to be anabled to get full tested frequency at recommended settings.
