Is this monitor good for gaming/60FPS-144hz

Hello everybody,

I already made similar thread to this one,but i manage to get more money so i can get a better one.
Anyway,i'm thinking about buying this one:

thing i like about it most is 144hz .
But since i will get GTX960 and i'm planning to play new games on 50-60 FPS (or a bit higher on some games)I'm not sure will i benefit with this monitor considering it's only 60FPS on 144hz?
Please help.

It looks good to me, 1ms response time & 144 hz is nice. I mean you might slightly benefit from having the higher hz monitor depending on the games/setting you play. I know for example with my 960 I got 200+ fps on standard settings on CS:GO. I wouldn't expect to be hitting higher than 60 fps in most games, especially if at max/high settings. So thats probably a personal decision, based on if you find the extra frames occasionally worth it. I personally would stick with a cheaper 60hz monitor but I am stingy

Hi,
what if i play games with medium-high setting with AA-off on and a bit lower resolution let's say cca. 85 FPS?
Will i get benefit then?

Most games playing at medium settings you would get the benefit of 60+ frames. I have never played at anything above 60 FPS, so I am not sure if it would be worth sacrificing graphic settings for.
