Is this motherboard compatible with this GTX 970?

I was wondering if the GTX 970 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gigabyte-NVIDIA-Gaming-Graphics-Express/dp/B00NQ862GY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1420296200&sr=8-1&keywords=gigabyte+gtx+970 would work with it?

Yes, but it is a bit weak. If you're shelling out the cash for a GTX 970, you should probably get a motherboard that is in the same league, if you know what i mean.

It should as long as your case has enough space for the length and height of the card. The only thing that the card would do is cover up one of the PCI-E x1 slots.

Just realised you're on a 1155 socket, so there aren't really many options. The GTX 970 will work on the mother board you have chosen. just check your case size so that you can fit the card.
