So I got a power supply like 3 months ago and it seems like an old power supply because it has a red volt switch. I haven't encountered any problems with it but it doesn't have a on and off switch. I am worried that it might be a low quality psu but I haven't had any problems with it. I don't know the name of the power supply because I haven't really checked. Is it safe? It has held its self for 3 months so is there a chance that it can short circuit in the upcoming future?

Brand/model/pictures ?

BTW (assuming you live in a country where electricity is at 240v) :
never
EVER
Switch your PSU to 120V mode.

It's basically a PSU from an IBM prebuilt. So it would do fine under a similar computer. Then again it's also possible it could have certain specifications tied to that IBM computer, such as the cables being incompatible. If you're building a new computer, don't get it.

once you apply load in it and cpu with gpu starts to ask for watts the psu doesn't have, well, you will see sudden restarts or other fun results, including smoke, weird smells and dead part on the pc, also all the psu nad cpu in general must be very hot when you play i think
