Is This Overclock on my RTX 2070 OK?

I probably won't keep the card at this overclock, but I wanted to test and see what it can do. Maybe I'll overclock it in the future, but for now, it isn't necessary. Anyways, I used Heaven Benchmark to test the overclocks, and I just want to ask people with more overclocking experience if this overclock is safe for my card:

(Using EVGA Precision X1)
+225 MHz (2040-2085 MHz) Core Clock Speed OC - Anything past 230 MHz caused Heaven benchmark to crash.
+1250 MHz (8251 MHz) Memory Clock Speed OC - 1500 MHz caused artifacting in Heaven benchmark
100% Voltage - Oddly enough tweaking this setting doesn't seem to affect anything. In Heaven benchmark, voltage fluctuated from 0.7V to 1.05V throughout test at any value, but I got slightly better performance at 100% for some reason.
114% Max Power

With this overclock, I was able to score 5852 and 232.3 FPS at Heaven's default settings and no sound. In addition to whether or not this overclock is safe, I couldn't find much info as to whether or not this is a good overclock. Thanks in advance for taking the time to reply! 😀

It seems fine to me. I don't see any problem with your overclock. If it passes multiple Heaven bench tests with good stability, no freeze, and frames never dipped below 45 then you're good to go.

As long as the card's temp is kept low (below 65C preferably) so the card doesn't thermal throttle, you can just go ahead and use this overclock long term.

Thanks for the reply! The temps hardly ever exceed 65C, so I guess I am good to use this OC in that case! Good to hear. Do you happen to know if this is a good OC or if this is about average for a 2070?

Looks like a decent OC on the core clock and very good OC (1000+) on the mem clock. Usually the 20 series don't OC well with mem clock. But that still depends on the unit you received.

To have a sense of where you are in comparison to other people's 2070 cards, I would do a Unigine Heaven test and compare the score here:
https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/unigine-heaven-4-0-benchmark-scores-part-2.222125/
(be sure to look at what resolution others were tested at, and whether its more than 1 gpu)

Another very good test would be Unigine Superposition. Compare your score here:https://benchmark.unigine.com/leaderboards/superposition/1.0/1080p-extreme/single-gpu/page-1
(also note the test's resolution as it can greatly affect your score)

Thanks for the advice. I'll try that later when I get the chance.
