I am thinking about building a PC, and this is going to be used only for Gaming. I asked one of my friend who is knows a lot about PC components and stuff and for my budget of $800 he suggested me this PC-(I checked and the Price of the Parts were good and it fitted the budget of $800 perfectly) Please tell me if I should build this-
CPU- Ryzen 3 3100
GPU- Gigabyte Rtx 2070
Mobo- Asrock B450M Steel Legend
RAM- Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 mhz DDR4 8x2
Storage- 1 240GB Adata SSD
1 2TB Toshiba HDD
PSU- Gigabyte 550W 80+ Bronze
Case- MSI Mag 100m

Please advice me as this is my First build and any help will be appreciated.
Thank You.

Yeah around 30-35k for that, I am new to this PC building thing, Is the list good should I build it ?
It's highly imbalanced. I would not recommend below a R3 3300X / R5 3500 for anything RTX.

The 2070's price is fine, although you should probably wait for the 3060 to drop somewhere in January.

I'd recommend a WD Blue or Kingston A400 SSD minimum, they're about 3k usually. The reason being the Adata one I think you're referring to is a QLC (quad layer) NAND, TLC is better, A400 and Blue are TLC. Make sure the HDD is 7200rpm, not 5400.

The PSU is also pretty insufficient, for a 2070 I would recommend 650W, check out the Corsair CX650, it's pretty good (the one without the M) don't buy CV or VS they're meant for low end builds...

The motherboard is fine, depending on the price. But, it's a B450, so make sure that the BIOS is updated from the store because you cannot use USB flashback to update it and your computer will not work because you're picking a Ryzen 3000 CPU. MSI's B450M Pro VDH MAX, for example is Ryzen 3000 ready (pre-installed bios update)

RAM is great, check out G Skill Ripjaws V too, pick corsair or g skill whichever is cheaper

The case is okay... How much are you paying for the case, and mobo?
