I have to agree with this because we know the I 5 6600k is only a few percentage points ahead of the I5 4690K But at a much higher cost!!! New board costs more $$$$$ New DDR4 MEM cost more$$$$ Cpu cost more $$$$ for ??? maybe 2 to 5 % gain in performance not worth it ...

RAM speed makes hardly any noticeable difference in gaming; neither does DDR4 vs DDR3, but building new you might as well go with the new chipset IF you have the money. As to your question "Is this a beast for gaming?" No, and nothing currently is without at least two GPUs; is this a great build for maxing most games at 1080p? yes. Is this going to max everything at 1440p and higher? no. Personally I wouldn't get a PSU without at least a 7 year warranty; EVGA G2s have 10 year warranties, which is what I have. If you do a lot of alt-tabbing and browsing with games you're going to want 16GB of RAM instead of 8; if you don't then 8GB is fine.

Any beast needs a SSD today, for faster startup of operating system, games and programs. My research about the Killer LAN on Gigabyte mainboards showed that the Intel LAN is more reliable or at least not worse than Killer LAN, by less resource hungry and without the need of an application for optimal coordination of data. Does your motherboard is only 7 phase power design? Better get an ASRock Z97 Extreme6 or Extreme9 with 12 phase. For overclocking GTX 970 graphics card and the Intel processor, you should have more power. Maybe the Skylake processor i5 6600K is not needed, better buy Devil's Canyon based i7 4790K 4.0 Ghz. Your psu is low quality and probably not strong enough for overclocking both

I would take one from Super Flower or Seasonic, alternatively the G2 line from EVGA, 600 W or more and at least Gold rated. And do you have an aftermarket cooler for your cpu?

the thing is my country has limited PC shop and they don't have an 4960k, im on a budget as you can see with my setup 0_0

2 GPU? Brah im on a budget

i will add 1 ssd at least ^x^

i have 16gbs of rams GSKILL RipjawsV RED 2x8GB DDR4 2400mhz 2X8GB ^_^ i cant get higher than 2400 becuz my country ya know

im new to the PC Community but do PC actually need a psu?

and like i said im on a budget soo you can see about the motherboard

Will my setup Run Farcry 4 Ultra?

do i need a psu?? because i know its bad but its perfectly on my budget

It seems that you don't know what PSU stands for. It is a power supply unit, which powers all units in your pc. Your chosen unit FSP HEXA+ 550 W is a psu and every pc needs a psu to run, otherwise they will not get juice from power. Its like asking if your tv needs power. My recommendation was just to get a different psu than you have.

Yes, 60FPS+ at 1080p. 1440p will drop below 60FPS.http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/far-cry-4-benchmark-performance-review,4019-4.html.

my loki you are a badass i have a 1080p monitor soo its perfect for me all i need to do i get an ssd card and a new PSU?

SSD is only going to decrease loading times as far as gaming, just want to make sure you understand that, it is nice to have, but it will not help gaming like the GPU or even CPU will. . It will not make the game run faster once the level/game is loaded. Just make sure you get a quality PSU, that is one area you should not skimp on. It's not fun having a PSU blow out or shoot flames (I know from personal experience); have a look at this PSU list by tier: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html.

If it fits your budget, then yes; nothing wrong with a 6600K and the Gigabyte motherboard. But you are going to need to buy a CPU cooler as I do not believe the 6600K comes with one. The Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo should be good enough and is relatively cheap (in the US anyway).

Can the COOLERMASTER Blizzard T2 works with NZXT Phantom 410 and 6600K? if it works then my setup is complete

Yes, they should be compatible http://pcpartpicker.com/p/wfdv99

If you are going to overclock I would get a better one than the T2 though: http://www.techradar.com/reviews/pc-mac/pc-components/cases-cooling/cooling/cooler-master-blizzard-t2-1122101/review.

The Next Day^^^^^ Should i get COOLERMASTER Hyper 212X not evo but this should do? and does it fit with NZXT Phantom 410?
