Yes, its 1866MHz cas10 and you can upgrade to 2 of those modules down the line. And has great looks

Do you have a good cheap optical drive that's 10-15 dollars?

ASUS DRW-24F1ST is a good looking one, the LG GH24NS90 is a bit faster in writing disks but doesnt look that great , both are cheap and reliable

Is modular that important?

Stands for Modular Cables.

If you have a fully modular PSU, ALL the cables can be plugged in and out the PSU. Semi modualr only the ATX 24-pin cable is attached , all the other cables are loose. Non modular PSU has all the cables to the PSU.

Its not important in terms of reliability or performance, only if you have a small case with bad cable managment it can be handy.
