Is this PC build good?

Hello, I am planning to build a PC; mainly for some gaming. I am planning to bought core item base on budget.
CPU ; i5 4590 3.30ghz
Motherboard ; MSI IONA
GPU : Radeon R9 280
RAM ; 8 GB
Would it work well? Able to play last games? Im more afraid about the MOBO..

If you have suggestions, they are more than welcome.

The CPU and GPU are definitely decent enough for general gaming, maybe not being able to run some games on ultra settings, but you'll definitely be able to run most games at high-ultra settings. I am not really educated on that motherboard though. What is your motherboard price range?

Thanks for the answer, hmm well, the MOBO got some ages now, its a recycle one if you want, now (if it still on sale), i guess around $100 USD to $150 USD no more.

Was previously running good with a Intel core i3 530 // Radeon HD 4350 // 6GB DDR3 Ram, if that can help

I'd recommend something like the Gigabyte GA-Z97X Gaming 3 or an MSI Z97-G45 motherboard because they seem to be pretty popular and well received, as well as under $150.
