More cooling power for less noise that is what AIO are used for last time i checked.
The pump is an extra source of noise to contend with.
If a user is smart about their choice of case, the air cooler is often quieter.
And 400mhz is a good OC boost, not sure what you meant little headroom?
So you guarantee all Ryzen 3600s can be manually overclocked by that much regardless of silicon quality, and that the gains are significant over someone just running on PBO + Auto OC?
Not sure if you meant +400 from the base, or the advertised single core boost though. The latter would be pretty ambitious...
Why would anyone use AutoOC?
PBO + Auto OC. You can run them together.
They were pretty wonky during the earlier bios patches though.
Google how to OC ryzen 5 3600 on this board and copy the settings, its 2019 we OC smartwatches you think people cant find out how to OC a cpu like a pro?
Geez... people are overclocking smart watches...
"Google how to... copy the settings... OC a cpu like a pro..."
Damn. That's just an insult to the hobby... copy settings and become a pro overclocker, NICE!
Yeah, just completely forgo all the testing and troubleshooting involved - I'm sure someone else's profile will work regardless of the cpu/mobo/ram combination.
🤔
And let's not forget about the silicon...
And how will the gpu not fit in the case?? Case has 360mm room for gpu and rx5700xt is around 280mm and the biggest one i found was 290mm.
Where in my post do I say the gpu wouldn't fit?
I was referring to yet another potential scenario of a builder putting a high power gpu like the RX 5700XT, in a hot box of a case, like the Antec NX600.
Surely you know about this? It's kind of become a fad.
People taking RX 5700XTs, 2070 Supers, 2080s, 2080Tis, etc., and then stuffing them in cases like the NZXT H500... and then later complaining about temps, black screens, and crashes.
