i was thinking of building my own pc from scratch but wasnt sure how good ot was.. are the below hardware a good combo?Will they fit together?

Intel Core i7 960
6 GB RAM
1TB HDD
Asus SaberTooth X58
HAF 932
CoolerMaster V8 CPU cooler

Its verry expensive and is a dead socket 1366.You can build one cheaper and performant.

You can keep the CPU cooler,HDD,case and video card. I5 2500k is better than i7 960 and cheaper.
