its my first pc build and i was wondering if it will all fit and if im missing anything?
Intel Core i7-4790K Processor

- ASUS Z97-A LGA 1150 Intel Z97 ATX Intel Motherboard

- Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz

- Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1 4GB Graphics Card

- Crucial MX100 256GB SATA 2.5-Inch Internal Solid State Drive

- Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

- Corsair Carbide Series Black 400R Mid Tower Computer Case

- Asus 24x DVD-RW

- XFX PRO850W Core Edition Power Supply ATX 850

- Seagate 2TB Desktop HDD SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache

- BenQ GW Series GW2760HS 27-Inch Screen LED-Lit Monitor

Solution
- GTX 970 is good enough for 1080p
- Your power supply is very overkill. If you are not planning to SLI in the future, you're fine with even a good 550-650 watts power supply (For example the XFX XTR 550w)
- The 400R is big enough to fit all of those components easily.

If you want I can suggest you things that would save you money. If you have no problems getting the build you've listed yourself, you're good to go though.
Short answer is yes.

Longer answer is actually a question, which is what resolution are you wanting to play at, and at what settings? A single 970 with is not going to push out ultra settings 4kUHD at 60+fps, but then to be fair dual 970s won't do that either. The monitor you listed will do 1080p, so you can play HD games. The 970 is a robust little card, I think you'll really enjoy it, but the best thing is that if you want to upgrade you just get another and go SLI, versus upgrading to a 980.

Try checking out systemrequirementslab.com, it will let you select a game and then scan your PC to see if you can run it. Not sure if there's an option to input system info manually.

okay thanks so if i was to upgrade to a 980 i would be able to max out settings play at 1080p? id just like smooth running with maxed 1080p probably. or would 1 970 do the job for like call of duty and bf4 and gta 5 at 1080p going atleast 40fps?

and 1 last question. with all my parts would they all fit into any pc case? or is there specifics i need to get? id like to get a beast looking case but im not sure if all the parts would fit?

so do i only need the 970? or should i upgrade to the 980? and will all these parts fit in the case??

(No peripherals included)

The motherboard is a killer for the price, better than the Z97-A from Asus.

But headroom for futureproofing is better to be fair, if you can afford the EVGA B2 750w just go for it. Reduce HDD size to 1GB if you have to.

Thanks!
