Question Is this pc worth £1k? (EDIT: the monitors/tv are not included)

A friend of mine spent £1.3k on this brand new build last year but has been offered a better one so he's desperately tring to sell it. He's offered to sell it to me game ready with a good case for £1k. The specs are:

Do you really need 2 monitors and a TV? I wouldn’t pay £1k for the main PC and for gaming I’d much rather a single 1080p 144Hz monitor than 3x 60Hz displays. Also warranties are usually not transferable and gpu prices have come down a lot in the last year. Personally I would not pay more than £500 for the core PC without monitors.

Monitors aren't included I forgot to take them off. So how much would you say the pc is worth? It's basically new because he built it last year. If it really is only £914 I'm willing to pay the 1k because I'm not exactly strapped for cash and he's my friend.

Because its used, and hes your friend, id say 20-40% less than new. So 6-700 pounds, being generous.
But, thats between you and your friend. You know the system, brand new is only worth about 900 pounds.

Yes.

First off, GPU prices have dropped significantly in the last 6 months.
Second, lack of manufacturer warranty.

PCs absolutely do NOT hold original value.

No longer warrantied, and prices have come down since that system was built, so you are looking at depreciation as well as cheaper parts.
