I am looking at a gaming pc on craigslist and was wondering if I could get a second hand opinion about whether it is any good. The asking price is 600 dollars.

If that is the exact build you would do yourself, then price out the parts and see how it compares to $600.
Does it include windows?

As to the parts, I like the ram , the hard drive and the graphics card.
The rest, not so much.

For pretty much the same price, you could build yourself a much better one with the GTX 970. I wouldn't recommend it.

It is just the computer. I imagine it has an operating system already installed but I would have to confirm with the seller.

That's if you buy that system brand new. I'd probably pass. You can get a decent intel+960/970 build for around the same price.

I run the same motherboard for quite some time now and I can confirm that it works well (although I haven't overclocked anything, but I don't need to - most modern games will run fine on the FX 6300). As a bonus, you get a killed GTX 970 for a massive performance boost over the GTX 760 (benchmarks can be found here: http://www.game-debate.com/gpu/index.php?gid=2438&gid2=882&compare=geforce-gtx-970-4gb-vs-geforce-gtx-760 ) as well as a cheap PSU from a good and proven brand (Corsair PSUs have a bad reputation) at the price of 615$.

$100 more and you get Intel I5 and a better brand GTX 970

Yeah, that's true, but the FX 6300 really won't bottleneck the 970, plus there's very little difference between the GTX 970 models anyway - the Zotac will still have about 98% of the performance of the Gigabyte version.
