Hello,

If you are reffering to the slightly shorter one, don't worry, it's OK. Any GPU (or any PCI-e card, for that matter) has at least one shorter or slightly narrower contact; why is it, I cannot say for sure, my guess it's some sort of safety feature: if the card is not fully inserted in the slot, it will not work.
