I have a dell poweredge T310 from 2008. It has a 400watt psu with a -5v rail and only 2 sata cables, 1 PCIe connector and a 20+4pin atx connector.

I would like to upgrade my psu to one that has 2 PCIe connectors(for gpu's) and more wattage(550 watt). The newer psu's dont have the -5v rail in their atx connectors but they have multiple PCIe connectors.

Is it possible to use a new Corsair RM550x psu in my old poweredge?

I want a new new psu because the only PCIe connecter is used by the raid setup and i only have 2 sata power cables. So i need a new psu if i want to use a good gpu(i don't want to use a 75watt gpu with no PCIe connector).

And i dont fully thust aftermarket psu's.
