Hi All,

I recently purchased below items for my PC build.
CPU: Intel Core i7-8700
GPU: MSI GTX 1070 gaming x
RAM: Not yet purchased. But planning to buy G.skill or corsair 2XGB RGB kit.
MB: ASUS ROG strix B360 F gaming
Casing: Coolermaster masterbox lite 5 RGB
SSD: Team lite 5 240GB
HDD: Seagate 1TB 7200RPM
PSU: Corsair VS450

I need suggestions and your recommendations for below questions.

1) Is this PSU I choose enough to handle max load.
2) Can I use a 1m long RGB strip along with the provided RGB fans in the case to one RGB header on the MB.

Thanks

Solution
Question 1: no, 450w will work but it doesnt leave any headroom, recommend a 550w if no upgrades in the future and 650w if you wona upgrade
Question 2: yes and no, depends on what strip you got, they usually come with their controller, if not, some use normal internal USB some just use a fan header on MBO for power and you get a remote to control it. that is why its yes and no
Psu is more important than any other piece of equipment in a pc. Everything is plugged into it and totally relies on it to provide good, stable power without hiccups. If budget is an issue, downgrade the mobo to a cheaper model, with that setup you don't need a mobo built for OC standards yet locked by chipset. Great board, just a little overkill. The extra $30+ savings can double or triple the quality of the psu easily. That VS is bottom of the Corsair line in quality. And reliability. And durability.

I've purchased Corsair TX650M and I'm so satisfied now.
