Will this PSU provide enough power for all my components. It is the PSU I have currently and works well however I'm looking to upgrade to a 1070 and I am unsure whether it will work. PSU: https://m.cclonline.com/product/162162/CIT-ATV-500W/Power-Supplies/CiT-500W-Active-85-80-Bronze-Certified-PSU/PSU0743/
Current build:
I5 4570
8gb ddr3 ram
1050ti 4gb
1tb HDD

Not at all. That psu is terrible and will kill your system in time + won't even be able to power it up with the upgrade.
Get something like a seasonic s12II evo.

The reviews on the link you provided say it all!

The nVidia GTX 1070 has a power draw of max 150W due to its 1x8 pin connector plus max 75W from the PCIE bus.
Nvidia themselves says so: https://www.geforce.com/hardware/compare-buy-gpus
Now, you have a mobo, cpu etc. that together I will estimate about 60-80W power draw at max.

So, You will be just fine, No more than 250-3000W
Well, besides that terrible PSU of yours.

That only counts if the psu in question can actually deliver it which this one can't always look at the product and don't assume when it says that it can go up to x amount that it actually can or that it is stable.

I can't really argue with You guys, since have the very same opinion myself.

However, if we are about talking PSU:s one must remember that it is not the effect (W) that's counting, it is the stable voltage (V) at different power (A)mps draw that is interesting.

A stable 3V, 5V, 12V line with a single power rail in the PSU of let say 40A- well that is something.
