Is this psu good enough

Hi, is a 550w psu enough for the following system:
-i5 8600k
-msi z370 pc pro
-8gb of ram
-Gtx 1070
-arctic freezer 33 and 3-4 case fans
Psu would be fortron hydro ge 550w 80+ gold

550w it's enough for that system. Nvidia recommends at least a 500w unit for the 1070 in a system. It wouldn't be a bad idea to up your unit to something over 600w but you really don't need to. I don't know too much about that PSU but, after some research, it looks a decent unit.

On pcpartpicker it says 360w for this system.
I watched a youtuber who says you simply divide that number with 0.7 and that is what you need, in this case its 514w, he also sead that its not good to go overkill with the psu.

Im really beyond stupid when it comes to watts and stuff

Just guessing that the ge version is similar.

GTX1070 should be good with even 500w.

And... if you are going for a good overclock on the 8600K, you might want a better two tower cooler.

Overclocking won’t add much to the overall load. You’ll be fine there.
