Is this PSU good for a Vega 56?

Hey guys, I ordered a Vega 56 and I received it today. However, I didn't install it yet because I'm concerned about whether my PSU is good enough. My PC currently has a Corsair TXM Series 550W Gold rated PSU. My exact specs are:

RX 580 8GB (will swap with Vega)
i5-8500 65W TDP
Corsair 16GB 2733Mhz RAM
Samsung 970 Evo 500GB SSD
1TB HDD 7200RPM
Just 1 case fan
ASUS PRIME Z370-P
I don't have any DVD drives, players, bluray, SD card reader, WiFi card or anything like that.

I want to know if the current PSU is good enough if I just swap out the RX 580 with the Vega 56?

Thanks for helping guys!

The PSU is of great quality, first of all.
Here's a link of how much power vega consumes.

Vega 56 power consumption

For the turbo mode power consumption is around 260W.
Combined, total power power consumption in full load will be under 400W.
It should work, but you need to consider a 650W similar quality unit(Corsair TX, Seasonic focus plus, supetnova g3) if you want to Overclock the card.

Because it's a good unit the TX550M will work with Vega, I wouldn't try OCing the card though.
You can also try undervolting vega(in the graph posted above the blue lines on the chart are with the power limit reduced by 25%) ... you'll get similar results but with better thermals and power consumption.

Thanks! but someone said according to my exact spec, the total power consumption at full load would only be less than 450W. If that's true then I'd have 100W headroom. Anyway, did you read everything I mentioned? Also, should I get Corsair TXM 750W or Corsair RMX 650W?

Graphics card will be around 260W(non OC) +65W from the CPU will equal around 330W... be sure that the rest of the components won't consume anywhere near to 70W...

As for the PSU upgrade, the 750W will be the better option... with it the power consumption won't be a concern when you upgrade.

Yeah, I think the 750W is the better option too. However, 330W + another 70 for the other components would equal 400W. I have a 550W Gold PSU. So that's a 150W difference.

I'd suggest RMX 650 one. It has better internal protection and better efficiency. I think 650W is pretty enough for a rig with Vega 56

OK thanks and yeah RMX is of better quality but I thought 750W would be better.
