Is this safe to do

My case(Zalman Z11) comes with 5 fans. I think they are all 4 pin molex 'plugs' but I'm not too sure as it hasn't arrived yet. I am building a computer for the first time and I would like to make the most of the fans. My power supply(Corsair CX430) comes with 3 "4 Pin Peripheral Connectors". I assume these are the same as molex. Now my question is can I use a Y splitter on each one so I can power my DVD drive, HDD, and 4 fans. Or is this dangerous and would it consume a lot of power and potentially deprive other parts of power. If so would it be safe to use one splitter and power two fans?

That will be fine. Fans don't draw that much juice and all your 12 volt connectors are on the same rail internally.

Cool, one more question, my motherboard has these internal I/O on the mobo:
2 x USB 2.0 connector(s) support(s) additional 4 USB 2.0 port(s)
4 x SATA 3Gb/s connector(s)
1 x CPU Fan connector(s)
1 x Chassis Fan connector(s)
1 x 24-pin EATX Power connector(s)
1 x 4-pin ATX 12V Power connector(s)

I am sure some like the CPU fan connector are 'already in use' because a CPU fan is essential, but could I use any of these to power case fans to cut down on costs for splitters? Also if you did happen to know, do motherboards come with required cables for things like that?

Yes you can use these, and _some_ motherboards come with extra cables, some do not, depends on the board.

Yes motherboard fan connections are fine to use. I wouldn't even worry too much a about using two fans and a splitter on a single fan header(motherboard fan connection).

However, I would check into the specs of both the header and the fans before I went with three or more fans on a single motherboard fan header.
