Hi everyone.
I have an acer aspire 5 a515-51g-5536 and im looking for a 500ish gb m2 ssd, found this one link. Does my notebook support it?

I didnt find much about compatibily searching the web, only that my notebook only supports m2 type, and the one i found has nvme.

If theres any mistake i apologize, english isnt my first language.

This is the chosen drive:
XPG SX6000 Lite PCIe

This says SATA interface for the laptop.

This says SATA interface.

M.2 is simply the form factor.
There are both SATA and NVMe drives in the M.2 package.
Nothing I've seen says that your laptop can utilize a NVMe drive such as the XPG you linked.

A SATA M.2 drive will probably work.
Such as an 860 EVO.

I'll go get a m2 sata then, thanks.

Also another question, acer page shows Total SSD Capacity at 128gb, does that apply ssd that replaces stock hdd or any ssd?
