4,680
1050ti 4GB
G4600(Sometimes G5400)
8GB DDR4
500GB HDD
H110
and a Beautiful tempered glass case all for $500
the power supply just says pwer rated power supply so i'm guessing that's a generic one but i can spend another $30 on replacing that with a VS450 or smthin so is this worth it? I'm thinking twice because alot of people say dual cores are dead now :/

I wouldnt buy it. I mean, yes the things (except the cpu) are okey. But I would more likely build my own PC for 500$. I think for 500$ (or less) you could build a ryzen system. Or you take a Ryzen with APU and buy a GPU later.

if its an 4600 its 2 core 4 thread and yea there is faster stuff out there the G5400 does score a little faster though.. but not much of a difference between the 2 of them)
Figure new the GPU is about (depending on the model exactly) around $200ish.. CPU about $70.. RAM.. somethin glike $50 to $80ish.. mobo $50 to 100ish.. and so on.. and if with OS.. maybe $500 if the case is really nice and so on.. you can get a faster computer with caster CPU and GPU from newegg for not much more then that around $750.. just depends on what you want to do with it.. if you like to game I would spend the extra and get something that may not look as nice but has faster internals. IF you dont need the extra speed and cant spend the extra $250.. then yea if new its a decent deal for sure. if used.. kinda depends on how hard and old it is.

IF you also run stuff that wants multiple threads then you will could also feel the difference between that one and one of the newer systems.

this is just my opinion mind you :)

like what beinik6 said.. build a Ryzen system with like the 2400G and get a add in GPU later. its faster, newer, and has decent built in video as well.. then get an add in card when they don't cost a arm and a leg :) Its what I did for one of my computers I have.

Yes, dual core is a problem, but you could look at the motherboard closer (which will be a socket 1151 kaby lake-s motherboard) and see what you can upgrade to. I found this for you http://www.cpu-upgrade.com/CPUs/Intel/Pentium_Dual-Core/G4600.html which shows that even the Core i7-7700K is possible on that system. So lets see 1050ti + H110 and tempered case + motherboard is probably worth it, but I would immediately replace the CPU which could be costly. The cheapest 4 core CPU you can get for that motherboard is probably the i5-7400 (non K). You can get these second hand and might get it for half price of new.
I would also upgrade the RAM at some point to 8GB but that wait. CPU first.

Remember also that RAM is expensive these days and I didnt even count that. Offer the guy 400 or 450, buy a new CPU and sell the G4600. The 7700k is very fast CPU if you can find one for cheap (which is not easy) it will run you games for years still.

Cheers,
Gabor

i asked my facebook group and they said it's still alright for what i want to play
PUBG, Fortnite, and blah blah blah 3A games if that's not really okay then what do you guys think of an
i5 3470
8GB
GTX 760
i heard that the 760 is between 1050-1050ti-ish perf.
and basically all of them performs the same except the i5 is a true quadcore for that it's like $350-ish here.would that fair better?
