Is this the best speed controller circuit for an Intel stock fan? If not, would I damage the fan or reduce its life?

I am making a 3 speed air blower (high, med, low, off). Is this the best way to do so? If not, will the fan be damaged or have a reduced life?

At this point, after you've posted a half-dozen threads asking for advice on trying to do some rather unsafe things, I'm unwilling to provide any advice without knowing what your ultimate goal is here.
