By and large differences in paste application or type of paste make little difference.
2-3c. perhaps.
The problem is more in the nature of a gaming laptop.
Laptop coolers need to be small and light, therefore not particularly effective.
At 95c. you are actually quite good. You are not throttling.
Verify that your cooling fans are spinning and that your cooling airways are clear.

Some paste is better than no paste - even a blob of it is better than nothing.
As long as it's completely covering the die, even a name brand paste isn't significantly better than some crap one bought off Aliexpress.

I would then look to the Nitro 7's casing: does its design allow air in and out effectively? That's going to make a bigger difference than the paste will.
Is the bottom of the laptop well ventilated and elevated?
Are the fans even working?
