is true Palit gtx 960 super jetstream defeats all others??

I watched this YouTube benchmarks (searched palit gtx 960). I saw the list where this Palit gtx 960 is better than EVGA, MSI, ASUS any gigabyte.

Now in my place, Philippines, palit gtx 960 super jetstream is significantly cheaper like $5 cheaper than others.

I've been thinking if I'll buy this instead of r9 270x but I only play twice a week. Also, I'm having doubt on Palit since my palit gtx 650 ti blacked out after about 2 months of usage.. And palit is like tier 2 brand.

Any thoughts??

How about the r9 270x toxic?? Sadly, HAWK isn't available, Sapphire R9 280 is also not available, but the shop has Power color r9 280.. Is the power color great in stability??

Power Color is great if you can get it cheap. Its not the best on their regular cooler, but their pcs+ coolers are top tier.

Either way its going to be a lot better than a reference card.

Got mine also Palit gtx 960 super jetstream. and i would its a nice card. as the OP say palit is cheaper in the philippines. and im happy on what i have chosen.

at first, im constantly viewing my card cuz the fan is not spinning.. im not use to card not spinning when it is below 60deg. hehe lol me.

That's the reason I don't buy Palit. I already bought Palit card 1 or 2 years ago. GTX 650 TI and it stopped working after 1 or 2 months. No display. haha.

It's not normal lol. It has to spin constantly I believe.

High end cards don't spin at low temperatures(sub-60's), some of them. Examples: Asus Strix, MSI TF V, and Palit Super Jetstream too(it seems).

thats what im saying. its new to me. maybe nvidea didnt understand what im telling lol....

update: just resently updated my rig to i5-3470. and wow that FPS!!!!!!!!!!!! im having max out on all my games. even recently installed shadows of mordor. with very high setting... im loving my Palit gtx 960.. didnt expect the performance of a 128bit.

battlefield 3 max out with 45-55fps
world of tanks 60fps constant


Add:
here in the PHIL. R9 280 is more expensive than Palit gtx 960 so no point on buying a card with the same performance with power hungry appetite.

Understandable, as it's nothing but the R9 280, which is faster than the 960(which is around 270x level).

Nice post. I just want to add... i will consider buying Palit GTX 960 Super Jetstream for some reason, 1) I like the color of the card (themed with my pc), 2) Great Specs for *60 series, 3) Cheaper *Mas mura talaga*.

Regarding card issue.. i think all hardware has their own issues

haha nice one with the phalanx.. i dont know the reason why they name their product palit. but in my language palit means to buy... "bisaya(Filipino)"

in regards to 79**, yup i dont contest to that.. but for some reason r9 28* series in our place is more expensive than gtx 960, and almost in line with the cheapest 970.

It might be too late but i have this card and its very efficient, cool and big. In the games it performs very well. Its the best clocked 960 for now

Also my father has a gts 250 (palit) since 2009 and it works very good
