[SOLVED] Is underclocking just the CPU okay? for laptop :)

Greetings,

I would like to ask a question,

I am wanting to use Throttlestop to underclock the CPU for my laptop,
is underclocking just the CPU safe? For example I want to underclock the CPU to just 1.6Ghz..
would that pose any problems for the GPU, would the GPU be running hotter than the CPU, if the game is GPU intensive?

no safety issue there. Just try it yourself and have a look at the temperatures while gaming.

Underclocking will get you less performance in general, but should stay cooler. GPU will be bottlenecked most likely and not get that hot than without underclocking the CPU.
