[SOLVED] Is upgrading to 11 worth it unsupported?

I have no TPM and my processor is the solid but officially unsupported Intel Core i5-7600K.

I have seen conflicting (and probably outdated) reports about whether unsupported installations can still get updates, and whether they are very crash-prone.

Is it worth it?

It can be done. it will probably get OS updates.

But WHY?
There is no special need to Upgrade a currently working Win 10 to Win 11. There is not special benefit.

In BIOS I found "BIOS Ver. 0222" but also "Version 2.17.1246"

Little difference besides eye candy. Some clickies are in different places.
No performance benefit for your hardware.

Windows 10 will continue to be supported with security updates until 2025. By that time, you may be looking into getting a new computer that has hardware Windows 11 supports.
