Is WIndows 10 build 1809 available via normal update?

Hi,
I would just like to know if the Windows 10 build 1809 is available for all PC's. I tried checking for updates and only the october cumulative update was found. Is there a fault in my PC or Microsoft hasn't released it after the recent issues?

Microsoft pulled 1809 due to a bug in it pending further review. They will be rolling it out slowly to other people at random. In the meantime, only 1803 is available for the Media Creation Tool.

Thx for the info. I was confused as on wikipedia it says 1809 is latest stable build and support for 1803 ends on 11th November 2018

You misread it, it says support ends in 2019.

You misread it, it says support ends in 2019.

I suppose I misread it or they updated it recently coz I clearly remeber it was 11th November. LOL anyways, Thanks for ur time.

MS only supports the last 2 versions, so obviously if they hadn't messed up the release of 1809, 1803 will stop being supported in March next year, when 1903 is released. well, in a perfect world anyway, longer they delay 1809, the more confused next year will be.

the version code = year (18) and month(03) of when it should be released. Alas, 1803 was pushed back to April, meaning 1809's number code already didn't make sense in Oct but by time it is released, it will be 2 months wrong. Maybe MS might fix it next year as the March build probably come out in May otherwise. The release a new version every 6 months, so either release a build 2 months early or fix the naming convention

Don't rely on Wikipedia for (necessarily) correct info -- any member of the public with an account can compose/edit articles on there.

true, best to use their sources or very least, look at sources and decide if they trustworthy or not. Wikipedia articles have been known to use tweets as references. I don't use it for anything specific, but they okay for general knowledge type things.

That article has 373 references, I am not going to go that far and cross check them all
