Hi.
I'm building my new computer and i need WIndows 8.1 as my OS.
Since i have no optical drive for DVDs, I want to create my own Windows USB.
Problem is - when i go to microsofts homepage, i can choose to get the Windows 8.1 Pro edition for around 50% less than ordinary editions. Since this sounds too good to be true, i wonder if it's just an upgrade from previous versions or if it indeed is the full Windows 8.1 that i get - I have no OS installed now (as I'm about to build my PC)
I'm a student in Denmark and i also wonder if my school needs to have some sort of arrangement with Microsoft in order to get the Student edition or if i need to supply some sort of information or student ID-number etc.
Do any of you guys know the above? Their homepage isn't really informative i think
