Is Windows 8 compatible monitor also compatible with windows 10?

Hi
I am planning to buy benq VZ2350HM with resolution 1920*1080.The specs mentions it is Windows 7 and 8 compatible. Now there is some reviews which say because it is Windows 8 compatible it should be windows 10 compatible.
I do not have much idea about display and I thought a monitor can run regardless of OS.
So can I buy it if I intend to run windows 10 ?

There is nothing in said monitor that wouldn't work with ANY operating system.
It takes video signal and shows it, done.

compatability issues might arise if screen was touch screen which might require special drivers for touch side to work but since there is no such thing, it is not tied to Operating system.

said "windows 7 and 8 compatible" is just marketing speech.

some monitor have add in software. some vendors if the monitor is end of life they may not update the driver package for windows 10. as long as windows 10 can read the monitor info your fine. if it cant you may have windows 10 using generic monitor settings.

As the guys said, all monitors work on a pure MS-Dos machine (386SX) as well as a Xeon workstation, all these labels are marketing stunts
