I have the board, and the 4690k, I've had mine at 4.4 for 2 years zero issues. Took it as high as 4.6 but the temps....not sure if it was power or cooling related but I dropped it down to the current settings and it barely runs hotter than stock.
If your going to 4.5ghz, I'd say get the Z97-A like tradesman has said. I personally run a Core i5 4690K at 4.5ghz (1.235v) with a Z97-A and it is very stable.
