Is zotac a trustworthy brand?

Guys in my country only two brands are available..(when it comes to nvidia cards) either Zotac or Asus...i had planned to buy asus strix 970..but now m hearing it doesnt have proper cooling and and its getting a lot of negative reviews...so the only other option left is Zotac..have any of u used any gpu belonging to this brand? its damn cheap so i am worried ...

Look at user reviews on Amazon they are overwhelmingly positive.

Zotac is not a bad brand either.

I don't. But I don't see why you should be so skeptical about the Asus card.

They have been making great cards for years, and is one of the most reputable manufacturers...

Yes mate..i have been using asus cards since i built my first pc...gtx 260...gtx 460.. gtx 760 all belonged to this brand.. but..reason i am asking this question is because one of my friends got a defective one...2 months have passed and it hasnt been replaced ..moreover i am seeing reviews saying that strix 970 has poor cooling ..thats why m a bit worried

Hello... Yes... RMA can be a different problem altogether, make sure you send in a warranty card for which Model you do get... Too avoid delays if you have problem.
Can you post the website of the cards, so i can look at their Cooling design?
