So today I've decided to delete Ubuntu from my dual-boot(the other being Windows 7) and I restarted but I needed a bootable USB or CD with the Windows 7 ISO. I didn't have either so I downloaded Windows 7 Home Premium x64 from a site onto a USB and tried booting but I end up with:
BOOTMRG is missing
Press any key to restart
error: no such partition
Entering rescue mode. . .
grub rescue> _
This would be in the command prompt. I assume that the ISO is bootable, I downloaded it from here: http://www.w7forums.com/threads/official-windows-7-sp1-iso-image-downloads.12325/
If it is not bootable, can someone guide me somewhere to make it bootable or a bootable ISO download file?
I do have a valid Windows 7 Home Premium x64 key if anyone is curious.
This is an HP Pavilion
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you.
