Hello there fellas,

I am looking to buy rubbing / isopropyl alcohol so I can clean my components such as CPU & GPU - but I don't know what percentage I should actually buy.

I heard 70% is enough, but others say the opposite - you need at least 90%.

Solution
Do NOT use rubbing alcohol as it contains added oils and things that don't play well inside your computer. If you have to use alcohol then use at least 90% isopropyl.

90% or above is best. Why? Whatever percentage is not alcohol is water. Water evaporates much slower.
