Hello I have a business that needs their isp modem in their electrical room that is coax relocated to the business suite. The issue is that fishing the conduit between the two locations is compromised and the business does not want to install a new conduit. There is an existing ethernet patch cable in that conduit between the electrical room and the business suite that is currently being utilized from the isp modem to the customers equipment. Is it possible to convert the incoming isp coax connection in the electrical closet to ethernet patch cable using a moca device utilizing the existing ethernet patch cable extension in the conduit then convert it back to coax in the business suite and connect into the isp modem that would be relocated from the electrical closet to the business suite? Would 2 moca devices one in the electrical closet and then one in the business suite be able to do this?

Im looking at this device, https://www.microcenter.com/product...hernet-over-coax-adapter-starter-kit-(2-pack)

Thank you.

Ethernet is a coax connection to your cable provider.

Moca works the other way it runs a ethernet connection over coax.

In addition cable provider modem use a protocol called docsis to talk over coax cable. They do not use moca.

I don't think there is a solution that will allow the modem to be moved....other than extending the coax cable.
