Well I have one system running with 1 IPS monitor and one TN panel next to each other, the TN is noticably yellower with almost no pure whites.
Colours are also much different, reds are fine, but greens are dull.

But probably the biggest thing that I noticed was when I moved my mains gaming system from all TN to all IPS, MUCH less eyestrain and much less tendency towards a headache with hours of gameplay, which has always been an issue for me when gaming for long stretches...

IPS I am assuming.
IPS is soooo much clearer and gentler on the eyes in long gaming sessions.
I believe its worth spending money on, especially if you are going an expensive setup as surround tends to be...

Keep in mind that monitor is DVI and D-Sub only, no HDMI and display port.

Remember that the monitor is what you look at the most and is what will effect your experience the most.

If I were on a tight budget I would get 2 IPS monitors and a third when I got some cash laying around...

(facepalm) im an idiot thank you for catching that

ok thank you for the advice ive personally never seen the difference between ips and the standard (in real life) not in a video so i think i may hold out and save up and get 3 IPS monitor
