Hello.

I have modem/router provided from my ISP (Technicolor EPC 3928). I have also bougt tp link archer c7.

I have looked in the ISP modem/router settings to put it in the bridge mode but i guess this isnt possible because i cannot find this setting.

For now i have disabled only the wifi on ISP modem/router. Is there anything else i need to do ?

Solution
It will likely be fine in that configuration. You will always have the double nat but if you are not doing things like running game consoles or need to port forward for servers it will have no effect

The funny thing is that the ip on isp modem/router is 192.168.0.xx and now i am on 192.168.1.xx because im conencted over the tplink router.

I need to have dhcp enabled so that my tplink gets the correct address no ?

I also get the DNS that i have set up on isp modem/router transfered to my tplink router.

I would just like to make isp modem/router to act like normal modem.
