[Issue] MSI Z370 Gaming Plus - No Sounds, No Output, No Nothing

Hi guys,

I just built a new PC for a friend of mine but I'm running into a serious problem. I'm getting no output to the monitor and no beeps or boops from the mobo itself. Before I dive into specs and details, I've tried pretty much everything. Checked and double-checked compatibilities, RAM sticks, CPU orientation, heatsink/fan contact, cable management, etc.

I've only been able to find one thing that might be able to help but the user manual and any online information has failed to bring me results: there's a single led light (in a row of 4 led lights) on the mobo near the RAM, the top one is on whenever I boot regardless of parts placed.

Any and all help is appreciated!

The red light would be the CPU LED, telling you a problem with the CPU is preventing your computer from booting.

Q-LEDs - BOOT (green), VGA (white), DRAM (yellow), CPU (red) - only lit during hardware-fault conditions

Thank you. I've since then found out the mobo had some bad contacts in for the CPU socket. I've replaced the mobo and everything is right as rain.
