Hi
I have an Asus PG279Q monitor and my problem is sometimes when I turn off the monitor by power button on back of monitor, the monitor turns off but the stand red LED is On, I have to turn on monitor again and turn it off to turn off stand LED. How fix this issue?
I only want the stand LED to be on when monitor itself is On!
Thanks

I also have the same display sometimes stand light got off sometimes it doesn't.
It Seems every PG279Q has the same usual thing.
Most of the time when i shut down my pc i also turn off the monitor power button on back and stand light used to get off.

Although you can do it manually.
OSD>System Setup > LIGHT IN MOTION> Select “ON” if you want to turn on the red light on the base.

^ page 3-5, seems to state that you need to turn off the stand/base LED using the menu, not the power button.

My suggestion, instead of physically pressing the button to turn off the display, why not have the OS, assuming you're working with an Windows OS environment, that you set the display to sleep after X minutes(whereby X can be any number of minutes). Avoids you having to press the button to power up and off. If you're powering off the panel when the system has been shut down, simply turn the rocker switch on your power strip or your wall outlet to the off position.
