Hi, I hope that I can get help here. I've tried the Gmail support, unfortunately didn't worked out. I have a Gmail account on my desktop pc. I guess that at some point it was setup to forward the incoming mails to two mobile phones. now I want to disable this option and stop forwarding. I've turned to the Gmail support and there is a fixed message telling to turn to "settings" and then to "forwarding and POP/IMAP tab" and in the "forwarding" section to click the "disable forwarding".
unfortunately, following these instructions, I couldn't find this option of disabling the forwarding. is it possible that my version of Gmail is old and doesn't include this option? if so, how can I disable the forwarding?

FYI:

"While Gmail’s web version is easy to use and bug-free, desktop users still look for a quicker access to Gmail. Desktop users have always shown interest in having a dedicated Gmail app for desktop, but unfortunately, there’s no desktop app available for PC."

From the link:

"Note:

You can only configure this option on the desktop since it is currently impossible in the Gmail app."

You will probably need to do some additional searches to narrow down what actually needs to be done with respect to your email environment and requirements.

I see that it's getting more complicated than I thought. is it possible to uninstall the current Gmail, download an updated version and install it? I guess that it will be installed with the default settings and therefore won't forward the messages.
