Issue with installing an application in my Sony Vaio laptop

I have purchased an already used laptop.Its condition at that time was like it did not had any operating system.I installed the OS from a local laptop repair shop.but I was unable to install any aap from the Microsoft store or windows store.I request you to suggest some answer for this problem.

Which specific version of "Windows 10" did you install?

With Win 10 Pro, there should be no problem.
