[SOLVED] Issue with old DVD

I have a DVD from 2006 and in that disk i got some game screenshots that i had burned,the issue is that it looks like that it was written and only 1 game was saved and my 2nd game folder doesnt exist anymore,is there anyway of going "deep" in the dvd and extract "invisible" files? i havent used it for maany years :/ (fyi the disk doesnt work that well anymore,it takes way too long to load a single photo and sometimes the explorer just restarts and i cant copy paste any file even those that i can see).

DVD's you burn at home can go bad.
13 years later, being unreadable is not unusual.

It seems that i might not be able to recover those files,even the files that are in there are corrupted one way or another and this was my only 'Save" from vanila WoW !!** my luck ! anyway thanks for the reply although i already knew it deep inside

I have a stack of burned DVD's from the mid 2000's.
Mostly video, but some other stuff.
I have about a 50% success rate, reading those a decade or more later.

Did you check to make sure the disk is clean? And did you try it in a few disk readers?

Disk is actually pretty clean and the upper side has no "pieces" missing,but no i dont have any other drive to test it ! i might do it tommorow since you mention it with a couple friends PCs
