Hi there,

This is a brand new build and Im powering on the PC for the first time.

Having an issue getting to the BIOS screen to then start my initial boot sequence selection ect.

My PC is booting up and showing the screen to "Press F2 or DEL to go to the BIOS screen" so im mashing delete and/or F2 from the moment i power on and it comes to that screen then just continues to the next screen showing that ATA devices are connected, mouse and keyboard connected.

I have the ASUS Extreme VIII Motherboard and a GTX 1080 water-cooled GPU if that helps.

Could someone give me some advice to help access the BIOS so i may setup everything else.

Cheers

Solution
Clear the CMOS of your board. Also, disconnect the keyboard and connect again (I'm assuming that you would have usb based keyboard). You may connect on any other USB port. Give it a try.

Awesome, yeah i just got home and located the CMOS button on the I/O. Ill do that and reply on here if that has solved the issue and allows me to access BIOS

Cheers
