[SOLVED] Issues when connecting my microphone to my motherboard

Hello I am using a Blue Yeti Microphone that seems to work with only on on my front usb ports. When I plug it into any other the audio sounds very muffled.
I apologize if this isn't the correct forum to post this on but I wasn't too sure.

The motherboard I am using is the msi 970 gaming.

It might be a driver thing of some sort, but I couldn't tell you.
You might want to update the BIOS and maybe see if there is some driver for the microphone.
