I've never had a multi monitor arm and I'm now finding out that it's not a "one size fits all".

I bought my arm from Eureka gaming and their included grommet is much too big for my
Samsung - Odyssey G5 27" LED Curved WQHD FreeSync Monitor with HDR (HDMI) - Blackso I bought a grommet from Amazon that was supposed to fit, and it doesn't, Humancentric's customer service said, "I can see the VESA holes on your monitor so you don't need our adapter to mount. Our adapters are for monitors that do not have existing mounting holes. You can attach your monitor directly to the arm. "

So I'm confused. I see no way to mount my monitor directly The arm instructions say to attach the grommet to monitor, which I can't as it's too big.

I don't have a website and I couldn't figure out how to add photos here.

Solution
from what I see, monitor only takes

VESA Pattern
  • 27” G5 Odyssey Gaming Monitor: 75 mm x 75 mm
  • 32” G5 Odyssey Gaming Monitor: 75 mm x 75 mm
it should be fine if you did not buy 100mm x 100mm or 50mmx50mm one.
There are multipurpose arms, but if you have the ending sized more than 75mm it wont fit into the hole on the back.

Screws are hidden behind ring on the back of the monitor AND might need to remove some kind of shroud.
