Hello,I have recently build my computer and ive been experiencing some issues with my ram I have the Corsair vengeance lpx 2 × 8 GB where when I install them in my motherboard which is a z370 gaming carbon my computer freezes after a few minutes and I double checked if their in the correct slot or not and they are,so if anyone knows what's the issue and how to fix I'd appreciate the help. Thanks

If you can, install memtest86+ on a USB stick and boot from it. This will test your RAM for errors.

Then let it run the tests, until you got at least 1 pass (the more the better, depending on how much time you want to give it). If it throws any errors, one of your RAM sticks is faulty. Remove one of the sticks and run the test again to know which one it is.

I tried using only one stick at a time I had no issues so could it be that the slot isn't working properly? But It recognises that there is ram installed there so wouldn't it not work at it if it was the slot? So I'm sure the ram sticks are working

Do both sticks work without issues if you install them individually? Or did you only test one of the sticks? If both sticks work on their own, then yes, it's probably the RAM slot.

In that case, you could try a BIOS update. Or just RMA the mainboard.
